Two of the area’s top real estate groups have decided to combine to pool experience and resources to better serve their clients.
The Schemmel Group, which specializes in luxury waterfront properties, and the Soda Group, which also specializes in luxury properties, have combined into the Schemmel Soda Group.
Both real estate teams were part of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty and will remain with that organization.
Individually, the two teams have produced at a high level over the years, each ranking among the top area teams in volume of property sold.
Combined the two teams have sold more than $200 million of residential real estate in 2021, according to a news release about the creation of the real estate team.
The release notes that so far this year the group has had the highest sales in Manatee and Sarasota counties, Lakewood Ranch, Casey Key, Longboat Key and Siesta Key and the highest closed sales volume in Palmer Ranch and Lakewood Ranch.
“We have admired the Schemmels’ work ethic and style through the years,” Donna Soda said. “That is exactly how Jim and I run our business. It just makes sense to create a phenomenon in the real estate world – two top teams joining forces creating a powerhouse of knowledgeable and professional agents to be able to take advantage of our overlapping geographical areas.”
