Josh’s Bakehouse — one part of the IGA team which also includes Central IGA and Central Cellarbrations — was also nominated for Excellence in Work Health & Safety, Excellence in Small Business and Excellence in Customer Service (Business Category), and Felicity Gallagher and Jessie Jennings were both nominated for the Outstanding Employee category.
Store manager Wayne Elliott said the staff have shown enormous resilience by working consistently through a period of change — not only because of Coronavirus, but because of changes in the business.
”There has been a fair bit of work in the changes we have made so far, and all the talks, meetings and training has been worthwhile,” he said.
”We have a fantastic and consistent team, who have come on board with all the changes we’ve made so far.
”They have put forward a lot of good ideas themselves, and they all work together well.”
