Business Hive Live is back for 2021 – ‘because you’re worth it’

Business Hive Live returns next month, with keynote speakers linked to some of the world’s biggest and best companies gracing the stage.

Having paused for the pandemic in 2020, E-Factor’s business expo and conference for northern Lincolnshire kicks back in at DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Hotel on Tuesday, October 5.

Jeremy Schwartz, former managing director for L’Oreal UK, chief executive of The Body Shop and marketing director for News International, Coca-Cola, Pandora and Sainsbury’s is the headline speaker, joined by Tim Wade, former marketing director for Best Western and founder of CX Lab.

At Coca-Cola, Schwartz created the multi-billion-dollar Coke Zero brand, at L’Oréal he launched the iconic ‘Because You’re Worth it’ strapline, and at Pandora he led the transition from stores to e-commerce, resulting in a 300 per cent increase in share price.

At The Body Shop he created the ground-breaking and highly successful vegan ranges, persuaded authorities around the world to protect endangered strips of rainforest and travelled to the Amazon to source new ingredients and protect biodiversity by creating an income for local indigenous groups.

He is now encouraging ambitious businesses to adopt his purpose-driven business and leadership methods.

Wade joined the world’s largest hotel chain, Best Western as marketing director at the beginning of the financial crisis. Transforming the brand, he helped deliver double digit growth year-on-year.

He will use behavioural science to challenge thinking around understanding customer behaviour, providing a practical application that makes a measurable difference.

Jo Taylor, Business Hive manager, said: “After two years away due to the pandemic, we are delighted to be bringing world class speakers back to the Business Hive Live stage. This event will be a chance for businesses around the region to come together in celebration of surviving and thriving through what has been the toughest test of our generation.

“It is open to anyone in business who values meeting new connections and hearing from business leaders who have led international brands to phenomenal success. It promises to be a really uplifting day.”
